Description

The catalyst in the solo performance Minority Man is drag king Robin's perception that men have become losers in society. Informed by the subversive potential of the queer community Minority Man is heartfelt satire about how Robin, in an effort to make himself relevant in today's society, invents new ways of being a man, thereby offering new fictions for the future.

Ann-Christin Kongsness (1987) is a Norwegian dancer, choreographer, writer and drag king based in Oslo (NO). In recent years, her work has adopted a more explicitly queer perspective. She has been a founding member of the drag king collective Gutta since 2018, and is currently working on the performance series Butch Tribute (2021).
