Cats Aren't the Only Ones with Nine Lives

A neo-traditional circus cabaret by the Cirque Queer collective presents a high-wire act between spectacle and resistance, feral beauty and raw desire. As performers ascend a tightrope strung from the deeply personal to the unapologetically intense, from brilliance to collapse, they address harassment, violence and deep loneliness, while creating space for activism, collective joy, celebration and empowerment.

Cirque Queer(FR), a collective of cabaret and circus artists, clowns and queer activists, was founded in 2020 by Lia Rose Plissot to conquer the public sphere where existance is becoming increasingly dangerous. Over time the collective grew and became stronger and bigger. Today, they perform various cabarets, night shows, live techno, DJ sets and a street show.
