We've all wondered what it was like to grow up as Blanket Jackson, son of the fallen pop star, what it's like to be Chaz Bono, son of a gay icon, or to be named after Lisa Marie Presley, daughter of a sex symbol with an ultra-patriarchal heritage. How were these children built? Did they grow up under the pressure of the weight left by their parents in popular culture, or by embracing their parentage?
Dynasties is a cabinet of curiosities in which Sara Forever plays a succession of family portraits. A soap opera which, through grotesque situations and reconstructions of anecdotes, presents the lives of well-known personalities and their descendants. This cabaret then brings us into the intimacy of these sons and daughters in order to reveal a more universal story which invites us to ask ourselves whose heirs we are.
Performance in French with subtitles.
