In search of an understanding of the world through our established identities, the creators of the cabaret Darling Drago have slipped into the shoes of the people we encounter every day and whom we normally regard with suspicion and mistrust. Their experience in the field of performance art, coupled with the mentoring of Maja Delak, has given them the tools to explore the subject of mansplaining in depth. This evening of butch romance, lip-syncing and royal mansplaining was created as part of the Lesbian Quarter at the intersection of art and activism for the 10th edition of the festival.
Since then, the Darling Drago team has expanded. The performance will be created by improvisers, performers, an award-winning writer and an extremely beautiful and talented boy who will be the host of the evening.
