Nataša Keser

Nataša Keser (1991) obtained her master’s degree in acting from the Academy of Dramatic Arts in Novi Sad and UL AGRFT. She was a self-employed worker in culture and appeared on the Mladinsko stage several times as a guest before joining the ensemble full-time in 2023. She has performed on the stages of Ljubljana Puppet Theatre, Maribor Puppet Theatre, Prešeren Theatre Kranj, SNT Drama Ljubljana but also on those of independent organisations and groups, for example, Glej Theatre, Margareta Schwarzwald Institute and BiTeater, as well as on film and television. She collaborated with directors such as Tomi Janežič, Chiara Guidi, Jack Timmermans, Jernej Lorenci, Neda R. Bric, Jure Novak, Yulia Roschina, Maruša Kink. She has a special creative connection with the director Nina Rajić Kranjac, which has resulted in the productions Angels in America  (2023), for which she received the Borštnik award for acting at the Maribor Theatre festival in 2024; Solo (The New Post Office, 2021), which won the Mira Trailović Grand Prix at the Bitef Festival; The Conference of the Birds (Glej Theatre, 2015), for which the ensemble won the Rejhan Demirdžić Award; and 1981 and NOW I’m Flying!, their graduation productions (UL AGRFT, 2014), which earned the entire year the Academy Prešeren Award for Students for collective performance. As a member of the Počemučka theatre collective, she is the recipient of the Grand Prix for the best puppetry production of the last two seasons and the Award for Animation and Acting at the 12th Biennial of the Puppetry Artists of Slovenia; both awards were presented to the authors and performers of the production Under Construction (Glej Theatre, 2021), which also won a Special Jury Award at the 52nd Week of Slovenian Drama.
