Cypher is a tradition, a ritual and a way for dancers to exchange energy through movement. It is the quest for balance between an individual and a group, between creating one's own content and supporting another one.
Freestyle Cypher is a dialogue between different art forms, which use different languages as their expression. Word, movement, sound. All three components combine in each art form individually and among themselves. The fusion of different expressions is guided by improvised direction: MC's implying the performance ritual via intuition and code.
The performance is a continuation and upgrade of the projects Freestyle Cypher (Spider festival edition) and Chorus.
